Roy Glen Huneycutt

Roy Glenn Huneycutt , age 89 of Little Rock, passed away February 15, 2017. He was born February 23, 1927 in Donaldson, Arkansas to the late Roy Lee and Oneta Martin Huneycutt. He was a United States Army Veterans, and graduate of Arkansas Tech and the University of Arkansas, and later went on to do lifelong work in accounting at Winburn Tile Manufacturing Company. Roy was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, where he was an ordained elder. He lived at Memory Care of Little Rock at Good Shepherd where he was the "ambassador." He valued and loved every person he met. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Rita Lowrance Huneycutt and their son, Larry Glen Huneycutt. Roy is survived by his daughters, Debbie Huneycutt Byrd and Cheryl Dawn Huneycutt Anderson and her husband Marty; a sister, Jan Huneycutt Lightner, a brother, Louis Huneycutt and his wife Violet, a sister Patsy McKim Daniel, and a sister in law Peggy Garner. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sam and Alicia Byrd, Eli & Emily; Erin and Shaun Oliver, Ethan, Elliot, and Ezra; Rachel and Matt Silvestri, Evan and Elle; Sara Huneycutt and Scott Johnson, Baxter Bittle, Gibson Bittle, Amis Johnson ; Jesse Huneycutt, Isabella; Max Anderson, Cooper and Neal. Memorial Services will be Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 9301 Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, Ark.
