Louann J. Carlson

Louann J. Carlson, "Lou" was born to her parents, Mildred M. Lewis and James H. Lewis on March 26, 1931 in Wichita, Kansas. She passed away on February 15, 2017 at the age of 85 in Rogers, Arkansas, where she lived with her husband, James V. Carlson, "Jimmy". She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father and two siblings, Frank Lewis and Oleta Yost. Louann had a passion for reading, loved watching sporting events, and traveling with her husband. She worked as the Executive Secretary for President of the Enmar Company and the President at the Coleman Company in Wichita. Louann and Jimmy also were very involved in the Northwest Arkansas Schimitar Shrine Organization. Jimmy and Lou were students at East High School in Wichita Kansas and were married on December 6th, 1958. During their 58 years together, they raised three children; Jimmy Ross Carlson of Seattle Washington; Perry Carlson of Kansas City, Missouri and Claire Billingsley of Dallas, Texas. Louann is survived by her husband, her three children, four grandchildren, and four siblings; Evelyn Jackson, Margie Harvey, Willadean Maclean and Mid Ayesh. The family invites you to share a celebration of life on February 26, 2017 from at 2 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 W. Hudson Road, Rogers, Arkansas.
