MARTHA AGNES KELLEY, 99, of North Little Rock, passed away Dec. 29, 2016. Agnes was born Feb. 9, 1917 in Ashley County, Ark., to the late William David Peden and Margaret Virginia Hammock Peden. She graduated from Hamburg High School, Hamburg, Ark., and married her childhood sweetheart, Ernest (Red) Kelley in 1934, moving to Little Rock in 1944. She was a retired Sears employee and a charter member of Central Assembly of God (now Trinity Assembly, LR). She is currently a member of First Assembly of God Church, NLR, where she taught various Sunday school classes for many years. Everyone who knew Agnes knew of her great love of God. She is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Rita Arrington; granddaughter, Terri Thompson; grandson, Phillip Kelley; and brother, Walter Peden. Agnes is survived by a son, Jimmy Kelley and wife Diann of Olive Branch, Miss.; son-in-law, James Arrington of Sherwood; two grandchildren, Kevin Kelley and wife, Nikki of Houston, Texas, Kelly Cutler and husband, Chris of NLR; four great-grandchildren, Kayla Kelley, NLR, Blake Kelley and Aubrianna Kelley, Houston, Texas, Alex Cutler, Kansas. She is also survived by two step-granddaughters, Tami Henderson and Debi Arrington. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3 in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Loy officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
