Georgia Emily Hogue

Georgia Emily Colebank Lee Hogue, 95, of Maumelle died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. in Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Patterson, pastor of Central United Methodist Church of Dalhart, officiating. Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart. Mrs. Hogue was born April 10, 1921, in McLean, Texas to George & Clara Carpenter Colebank. She moved to Maumelle in 2006 due to her health and to be near family. Survivors include a daughter, Carla Howard of Maumelle; three stepchildren, Susan Clay Allen and Joel Hogue, both of Amarillo, Texas, and Terri Newman of Hobbs, N.M.; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Dalhart Meals on Wheels or Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
