Charlene F. Yager
Charlene F. Yager, 69, of Maumelle, Arkansas closed her eyes on Earth and opened them to Jesus on January 4, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer. Charlene was born in Greenville, Texas on September 20, 1947. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mom, and Mimi. She was a beloved member of the Maumelle community, and a retired public school teacher with over 40 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Tom Yager; parents, Charles and Frances Flowers of Greenville, TX; siblings, Darlene (Jimmy) Tarrant and Paula (Jack) Horton of Greenville, Texas; children, Stacey (Bert) Whaley, Scott (Carrie) Yager, and Chris (Tiffany) Yager all of Maumelle; grandchildren, Tate, Tommy, and Teagan Whaley, Blair, Titus, Levi, and John Mark Yager, and Abby, Jackson, and Jace Yager; and nieces and nephews, Connor, Cody, Caleb, Jeff, and Cindy.
Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. The celebration of Charlene's life will be at First Baptist Church in Maumelle on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. Online guestbook: www.rollerchenalfuneralhome.com/chenal.
