Bonnie Faye Waldrup

Bonnie Faye (Heffington) Waldrup, 81, of Heber Springs, passed away on January 9, 2017. She was the widow of Donald Leon Waldrup, also of Heber Springs, to whom she was married for 56 years. Bonnie was born on December 14, 1935 to Arnold Greenbrier "Bill" Heffington and Margaret Lee Estelle (Burchfield) Blissett Heffington. They precede her in death as do all of her four brothers and four sisters. She was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Heber Springs. Bonnie is survived by her three children; Donna (David) Odum, John (Susan) Waldrup, and Rita (Brent) Watkins, all of Heber Springs. She was Mamaw to seven grandsons; Mark (Kim) Waldrup, Wesley Odum, Daniel (Kristen) Waldrup, Patrick Odum, Andy (Ashley) Bartlett, Spencer Bartlett, and Nate (Jessica) Bartlett. In addition to her children and grandsons, she is survived by 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thurdsay, January 12, at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs and the funeral at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 13, at the First Baptist Church in Heber Springs.
