Martha Monte Morgan of El Dorado, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017. She was born December 11, 1927, in Banks, Ark. to the late Wesley Jackson and Reba Jackson. She was married to Orie Felton Morgan on Dec. 13, 1945 and celebrated 70 years of marriage before laying him to rest on April 22, 2016. She served her God throughout her life with numerous positions in the First Church of God, her community with a life-long commitment to veterans and charities, her business with exemplary dedication as one of the longest serving Tupperware leaders in the country, and her family with devotion and strength. She is survived by her daughters Gail Morgan Robinson, Theresa Morgan Meldrum and husband John, Sharon Morgan Tahaney and Martha Angelena Morgan, six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Reba Jackson, her husband, Orie Felton Morgan, her sister, Elizabeth Ann Howard, her son-in-law, Ken Robinson and her grandson Patrick Mitchell Tahaney. The viewing will be at Young's Funeral Home, Monday, January 16, 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the First Church of God, 918 Mosby, El Dorado, Ark., on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 10:30 a.m. The Burial Service and Interment will be at Williams Cemetery in Banks, Ark., at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to the First Church of God, 918 N. Mosby or to the charity of the donor's choice. An online registry will be available at www.youngsfuneralhome.com.
