Billy Troy Hampton

Billy Troy Hampton, age 77, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017. He was born July 4, 1939 in England, Arkansas, a son of William Virgil Hampton and Emma Francis Epson Hampton. He was a member of the Order of American Fireman and International Association of Firefighters, retired as Captain for the Little Rock Fire Department after 35 years, and was of the Christian faith. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Karen Hair Hampton of Perryville; son, Virgil (Brenda) Hampton of Perryville; brother, David (Annette) Hampton of Russellville; and granddaughter, Stephanie Hampton of Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, January 19, at Harris Funeral Home in Morrilton with Bro. Dusty Day officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.
