Willie B. Baker

Willie B. Baker, 69, departed this life Friday, January 13, 2017 at Springhill Baptist Medical Center. She retired from Baptist Medical Center after over 35 years of service. She is preceded in death by parents Kinchon and Dorothy Edmond, brothers Carl, Dewitt and Sylvester; sisters Adlean, Annye Marie and Mildred. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Clark Baker, Sr. of North Little Rock, sons Malcom Searcy, Clark Baker, Jr. and Patrick Baker, all of North Little Rock; daughters Yosha Chapman (Brent), Patricia Baker-Harris (Faquan) both of North Little Rock; brothers Arvell Edmond of Muncie, Ind., Rev. John Edmond (Mary) of Little Rock, Dwight Edmond (Shellie) of Conway, sister Brenda Edmond of North Little Rock; aunt, Willie Lou Linson of St. Louis, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Francis Edmond of Muncie, Ind., Bobbie Edmond of Little Rock, Maxine, Marie, JoAnnna, Josie Mae (Lee) all of Wrightsville, brothers-in-law, Henry, Theodore (Earlean), Leroy (Katheryn), LeAndrew (Christine) and Luther (Nena); her 12 grandchildren, Katie, Angel, Hope, Mya, Aleigha, Amber, Kenneth, Kendrick, Christian, Elijah, Devon, Patrick,Jr.; one great-grandchild, Mia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation with the family will be from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 811 S. A. Jones Drive, North Little Rock.
