James Daniel Harkey

James Daniel Harkey, 48, of Lonoke passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017. He was born on March 28, 1968 in Jacksonville to the late James Larry Harkey and Ina Davis. James enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Clayton Harkey. James is survived by his wife, Shelley Harkey; his children, Shayla Strickland and James (Melea) Strickland; his sisters, Susan Harkey, Laura (Adam) Long and Stacie (Lucas) LaBure; his four grandchildren, Shana, Nakyah, Braden and Kinley and his mom, Alice Cresswell; and niece, Ansley Harkey. Graveside service with military honors will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cabot. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
