Jo Ann Tims

Jo Ann Fryar Tims, age 84, of Bismarck, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 in Sheridan. She was born March 2, 1932 to the late William Bartly and Martha Alice Rodgers Fryar. Jo Ann was retired registered nurse and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Tims and one son, Harrison Bartly Tims. Survivors are two daughters, Shelia Bird and husband, Tommy of Sheridan, Sheena Garner and husband, Roger of Benton; nine grandchildren, Mac Bird, Samantha Bird, Matthew Bird, Summer Bird, Destin Garner, Houston Garner, John Tims, Allison Tims and Serena Tims; four great-grandchildren, Aidan Bird, Connor Bird, Emily Bird and Bryce Garner; one sister-in-law, Ruth Fryar of Oden. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt.
