Raymond "Chad" Pifer, 46, of Little Rock passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 19, 1971 in Little Rock to Raymond "Buddy" and Renee Ward Pifer. Chad graduated from Mills High School in 1989, and from Hendrix College in 1993, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts. He then graduated from UALR Law School in 1996. He then went on to succeed as a corporate lawyer. His career as well as his love and passion for life led him to travel all over the world. Through his travels he developed many lifelong friendships. His passion for rugby began in college where he played for The Hendrix Warriors. He later played for The Atlanta Bucks, where he served as president for two years. He traveled with The Atlanta Bucks to London, England to compete for The Bingham Cup. No matter where he traveled his smile could light up the room and he extended love to those he met. Chad's true love was his bulldog, Lulu. She was the light of his life, and brought him nothing but joy. Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otis and Jerry Pifer, Elwanda Garritson, and Leon and Helen Ward, as well as three aunts, Lynn Howard, Tanya Lay, and Carla Cagle. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Leslie (Bryan) Frost of Traskwood, three nieces, Lauren, Kennedy, and Karley Frost. He also leaves behind his goddaughter Logan Leonard-Myers, special friends Mike Farrell, Bryan Myers, David Leonard, and Bullett Manale, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from coast to coast. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Arkansas Cremation Chapel, 6400 Mabelvale Pike Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72209.
