Mary Alene Spires

Mary Alene T. Spires, 91, of Cabot, Ark., passed from this life on June 30, 2017. She was born in Murphysboro, Ill., on Nov. 27, 1925 to the late Edward and Mae Ellen Talley. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her garden, and was a devoted Christian. She is survived by her two daughters, Jamie Shaban and Robin Scott (Joey); four grandchildren, Rhonda K. Glover, Wendy Ray, Andrea Wooley, Jessica Scott; six great-grandchildren, Levi Carter, Lisa Holleman, Kenny Wooley, Kerri Grimm (Matt), Jordan Waymack, Jacy Waymack; one great-great-grandchild, Aubrey Victory; her beloved yorkies, Bella and Stormy and a host of other family and friends. Mary is also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Spires; one daughter, Brenda Ray; one grandson, Anthony Griffin and six siblings.
