Lillian White

Lillian Louise Cordell White, age 81, of Benton; passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. She was born October 21, 1935 in Rison, Arkansas. Mrs. White was a retired L.P.N. from Saline Memorial Hospital and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Eli and Dora Jane Conred Cordell; husband, Rex E. White Sr.; three siblings, Travis, Pat and William Cordell and a son-in-law, Larry Tackett. She is survived by her five children, Wanda White Tackett of Benton, Brenda White Huett (David) of Benton, Troy White of Benton, Patricia White of Monticello and Rex White, Jr. (Eileen) of Benton; two siblings, Marcil Burks (Robert) of Benton and Huie Cordell (Marlena) of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and her best friend of 46 years, Mary Jo Leech, who loved her like a sister. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 9 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 10 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Bro.
