Donia Bernice Strickland

Donia Bernice Strickland, 75, of Jacksonville died Sunday, July 9, 2017. She was born October 12, 1941 in Austin to the late Charles and Dillie Woodiel Kirkland. Mrs. Strickland was known to be plain spoken, hard working and always willing to help others. She enjoyed fishing and road trips with no particular destination. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Kirkland. Mrs. Strickland is survived by her children, Russell Gunter, Annette Millsap, Sandra Strickland and Vicki Gunter; sisters, Doris Gunter and Charlene Colaw and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial gifts may be made in Mrs. Strickland's name to The American Heart Association at www.donatenow.heart.org. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Crosspoint Ministries; 805 Hwy. 64 West; Beebe, Ark. 72012 with Brother Bo Hines officiating.
