Patricia Ann Millsop, 71, died Friday, July 7th in Springdale, Ark. Patricia was born March 19th, 1946 in Washington, D.C. She was a resident of Springdale, Ark., for 18 years. Before moving to Springdale, she lived in numerous locations throughout the country, befriending many individuals throughout her journey. She was preceded in death by her husband James Keefer Millsop, her parents, and two siblings. Survivors include her three children: Rebecca Victoria Millsop, and her husband Joshua Hart Kampa, of Providence, R.I.; Rachel Jacqueline Millsop of Roswell, Ga.; and Robert James Millsop of Springdale, Ark. She worked as the substitute coordinator at Springdale High School for many years and, throughout those years, touched many lives. She was dedicated to, and proud of, her secretarial profession. She worked as the head secretary for the dental school at the University of California, San Francisco for many years before her children were born. Her life's true passion was being a loving and supportive mother. Anyone with whom she spoke quickly learned all about her children, and understood the immense love and pride she had for them. She was always interested in learning about the lives of others and connecting genuinely with everyone she met. She also enjoyed spending time gardening, reading, and appreciated music throughout her life. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 30th at Springdale High School, Seminar Room. In lieu of flowers, her children request that donations be made to Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
