CHARLES DENNIS WOOLDRIDGE, age 80, of Jacksonville passed away on July 11, 2017. He was a kind father, supervisor, and community leader. He was a Radar Control Specialist and First Sergeant Master Sergeant in the USAF for 20+ years. After retiring from the Air Force, he had a second career with the USPS, retiring after 20 years of service. The father of four, he was a Little League baseball coach and Pack Master for his son's Cub Scout group, reaching the rank of Chairman of the Louisiana Oil District for Boy Scouts of America; and was recognized as one of the "Outstanding Young Men of America" in 1968 for his contributions to family, community, profession and nation. He gave quietly and unselfishly and is honored and loved dearly by his four children, two surviving sisters, companion Carolyn, and extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. 72120.
