Nancy Elrod

Nancy Sue Bowie Elrod, 84, Bryant/Benton, Arkansas; passed away peacefully and smiled into the face of Jesus on July 24, 2017 with her family at her side. She was born in Bryant, Arkansas on June 28, 1933 to the late Luther Lee Bowie, Sr. and Creola Sue Harper Bowie. Nancy served as the Saline County Tax Collector for 18 years and was a member of Bryant First United Methodist Church. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Amy Solomon and her husband Andy, Amy's son Jeremy Campbell and his wife Christy, and their children Casey and Conner; son, Tim Elrod and his wife Lesa, their daughter Kristin Elrod, their son, Cole Elrod and his wife Candice and their children Kolin, Gage and Makaila all of whom live in Benton. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Don Elrod and wife Bonnie; sister-in-law, Peggy Elrod Bengston; nephews, Mike Bowie and wife Janelle, Kurt Goble and wife Debbie and other nieces and nephews whom she adored: Steve, Stan, Troy, Tracy, Greg, Kim, David, Doug, Donna and all their spouses and family. Visitation, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Bryant First United Methodist Church. Services, 1 p.m. Thursday, Bryant First United Methodist Church, burial, Pine Crest Memorial Park.
