Noah Charles Ellison

Noah Charles Ellison, 79 of Marshall, Texas, entered into rest on Monday, May 29, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born in Catolpa, Ark., and lived Marshall for many years. Mr. Ellison was a construction worker who retired four years ago but was still always working, work was his hobby. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather who was loved by all who knew him. Mr. Ellison and the love of his life, Mary Elizabeth were together for 51 years. Mr. Ellison was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mae Ellison; two daughters, Tina Marie Adkinson, and Gloria Dianne Adams; two sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife Mary Elizabeth Ellison; two daughters, Kimberly Sorensen and husband Greg, and Tami M. Patrick; four sons, Noah Charles Ellison Jr. and wife Janet, Thomas McKinney, Charles Lester Keller, and Lance Leon Ellison and wife Sommer; three sisters, Mildred Patrick, Johnnie Nelson, Lorene Smearriden; one brother, Clois Ellison and wife Sharon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. Mr Ellison's wishes were cremation. The family would like to thank Kimberly Tamez for her loving care of Uncle Noah and Ellen Parks for being a lifelong friend of Noah and Mary.
