Gordon E. Marando

Gordon E. Marando, 84, of Cabot passed away Sunday, June 04, 2017. He was born on Jan. 13, 1933 in Sutton, Mass., to parents Joseph and Aldea Marando. Gordon served his country in the United States Air Force and also retired from the Remington Arms Company. Gordon is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Wilkins Marando; in addition to his parents; brother, Al of Connecticut; brothers, Joe and Rodney of Massachusetts; and his sisters, Frances and Carol of Massachusetts. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy Marando of Cabot; sons, Gordon Marando Jr. of North Little Rock, Ralph Marando of Cabot and Robert (Angela) Marando of Cabot; and granddaughter, Rebecca Marando; along with other members of his extended family. Visitation will be held from 6–8 p.m., Monday, June 5 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 6 at the funeral home. Burial with military honors immediately following in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
