Bonnie Jean Griffith (Barnes)

Bonnie Jean Griffith (Barnes), age 79, wife of William Griffith, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; passed away on May 22, 2017 after a six-month battle with cancer. Arrangements are being handled by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. On-line condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com. Bonnie was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 19, 1937. She graduated from Hanover High School in 1955. Shortly after graduation Bonnie met and married William Griffith on June 23rd, 1955. They celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2015. Bonnie worked in management for Cincinnati Bell and retired after 20 years of service. Shortly thereafter, she and William moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1976. They later retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1999, where they continued to enjoy their favorite pastimes, playing bridge, participating in various clubs and traveling. Son, Jason, preceded Bonnie in death. Mother and father, Mae and Herman Barnes; sisters, Betty and Margaret; and brothers, Donald and Ronald, also preceded Bonnie in death. Bonnie is survived by her husband, William and son, Michael, who resides in Fairfield, Ohio.
