Doris Ruth McDonner

Doris Ruth McDonner, 83, of Springdale, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at her home. She was born October 21, 1933 in Winslow to Walter Clay and Kizzie Pense Henson. Doris loved the Lord and attending Upper Smyrna Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed being with children and was a very strong woman. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Gayle Henson, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by six children, Vicki Doss of Fayetteville, William Henson and wife Sharon of Farmington, James McDonner of Alexandria, Virginia, Wally McDonner and wife Brenda of Farmington, Ronnie McDonner of Goodman, Missouri, Teddy McDonner of Springdale; two brothers, Hoyt Henson of Winslow, Walace "Pee Wee" Henson of Fayetteville; one sister, Carol Chapel of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
