Myles Austin McCullough, 34, of Fayetteville, died Friday June 9th, 2017 as a result of a motorcycle accident in the beautiful Arkansas countryside. Myles was born April 16, 1983 in Denver, Colorado, the only son of Samuel Rickey and Teresa Faye McCullough. Myles attended high school in Nashville, Arkansas, where he brought the Scrappers football team to many victories. Continuing his education at Arkansas Tech in Russellville, he developed lifelong friendships in the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, then went on to complete his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Arkansas. He was employed by Central States Manufacturing in Lowell, Arkansas. Myles spent the last six years of his life honoring his father Rick by enjoying the freedom of riding on two wheels, as Rick always did also. He took the utmost pride in restoring and riding his father's 1975 Harley Davidson Shovelhead. Fueled by this unchained passion that never ceased, he felt closest to his father when riding the open road on his dad's bikes and connecting to the people that his dad held most dear. Myles is survived by his devoted wife of ten happy years, Stephanie Leah, and his two precious children, Lillyn Grace 9 and son, Lucas Austin 6, his beloved family, mother Teresa, his two younger sisters, Sara and Jessica, and older sister, Heather McCullough-Berhalter. Being a father and family man is what he loved most in life, never passing up an opportunity to take his sweet kids down to the creek or on an adventure in nature. Myles also leaves behind his paternal grandfather, Reeder McCullough of Nashville, Arkansas, paternal aunt Rita Simpson and family of Wichita, Kansas, in-laws Fred and Carolyn Woehl pf Harrison, Arkansas and all the Woehl family and maternal grandmother Carol Fanshier. Myles McCullough, a bold son, loving brother, worthy uncle, proud father, dedicated husband, and friend and inspiration to many, will be greatly missed. A party to celebrate Myles' life and all the good times will be held at Mermaids in Fayetteville - Drop in anytime between 5 and 10pm on Saturday, June 17th. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family asks that donations are made to a college fund for Lillyan and Lucas - Please call Cornerstone Bank at 870-365-2265 and donate to the McCullough Family Fund.
