Jerry Ann Nickels

Jerry Ann Nickels, 80 years old, passed away June 17th, 2017, in Fayetteville. She was born in Mineola, Texas on May 17th, 1937 to Chester Sewell and Blanche Tackett. Jerry was a secretary for the University of Arkansas, in the Biological Sciences Department for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Glaese and husband Todd, son, Eddie Nickels and wife Kathy, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jerry loved her cats and would be honored by donations made to the humane society. Jerry believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior and loved and placed her hope in him. She loved her family very much. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 21st, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Perry Hall officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday June 20th, 2017, at Beard's.
