Roger Dale Harrington

Roger Dale Harrington, 66 year old resident of Gentry, Arkansas, died June 19, 2017 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born July 2, 1950 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of Vearl Harrington and Sylvia Hurt Harrington. Roger graduated from Colcord High School and attended Northeast Oklahoma University for two years. He married Betty Bader on July 2, 1971 in Gentry. Roger worked as a farmer, raising beef cattle and running a dairy for many years. He was a member of the Decatur Sale Barn Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Hugh Lee Harrington and Bob Harrington. He is survived by his wife, Betty Harrington; three daughters, Tonia Philpott and husband Greg of Gravette, Arkansas, Brook Harrington of Durham, North Carolina, and Katy Edwards of Plano, Texas; three grandchildren, Khloey Edwards of Plano, Texas, Ellie Philpott and Tate Philpott of Gravette; one brother, Rick Harrington and wife Suzy of Colcord, Oklahoma; two sisters, Bernice Wheeler and husband Dale of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Donna Nena of Mountainburg, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Pastor Terry Horton officiating.
