Katherine Louise Powell, 87, of Hot Springs passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lena Barnes Sherrill, and husband, Thomas M. Powell. Survivors, son, Thomas Drew Powell; daughter, Kathy Weakley; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Rosemont Cemetery.
