Janice Faye Hutcherson

Janice "Jan" F. Hutcherson, 81, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Bella Vista, Ark. Jan was born Aug. 18, 1935 in Auburn, Kan., to parents, Carl H. and Janet W. Moore. Graduating from Auburn High School in 1953. Jan left the Auburn/Topeka area to make her home in Illinois, Texas, and Maine, returning to Topeka in 1966 where she was the food service manager at Pennant Cafeteria, Eudora Public Schools and State Office Building Cafeteria. Jan and husband, Dick, moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1998 to spend their retirement years playing golf. Jan worked for the Property Owners Association from 1998 to 2011 at Metfield Golf Shop. Jan, being a child of God was an active member of United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista where she served on Alter Guild, Usher, W E LCA, co-chairman of reception committee, member of choir and Bell Canto singing group. Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Dick, February 27, 2016; her parents; brother, Paul Moore; infant sister, Barbara Jean Moore; and granddaughter Sarah Anno. Surviving are sons, Bob Boldra (Jodi), Effingham, Kan., Carl Boldra (Libby), Neodesha, Kan., daughters, Sue Cowan (Dwight), Deana Haslett (Steve), Kim Anno (Rick) all of Topeka, Kan.; brother, Don Moore, Allentown, Pa.; sister, Mary Gillespie (Jim), Houston, Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins; nine grandchildren, Brett Boldra (Sami), Blake Boldra (Kelsey), Brock Boldra (Jackie), all of Sabetha, Kan., Brody Boldra, Effingham, Kan., Paige Blann (Wylie), Neodesha, Kan., Taylor Giger, Bartlesville, Okla., Jeff Anno (Heather); Alicia Carter (Nate), Kristen Haslett, all of Topeka, Kan., and fifteen great grandchildren. Services will be at United Lutheran Church at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Inurnment will be at a later date.
