Thomas Meek Strickland

Thomas Meek Strickland, 62, of Hampton, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at UAMS in Little Rock. Born September 29, 1954 at Camden, he was a son of Martha Strickland of Hatfield, Ark. and the late Billy C. Strickland, Sr. He was a supervisor at General Dynamics and a member of Harmony Baptist Church in El Dorado. He is survived by his mother; his wife, Cindy Strickland of Hampton; son Heath Strickland of El Dorado; brother Bubba Strickland (Dianne) of Hampton; sister Linda Holder (Pat) of Hatfield, Ark.; grandchildren Payton, Tristan, Kirsten; mother-in-law Beulah Ables; sister-in-law Ann Rodrigues; brother-in-law Roger Doss and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Victory Baptist Church in Hampton. Burial will follow at Means Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 4268 Junction City Highway, El Dorado, Ark. 71730.
