Bobby Lynn Hines, 69, of Waldo, Ark. died Friday, March 10, 2017 at his residence in Waldo. He was born Dec. 12, 1947 in Magnolia, Ark. to the late Ralph and Mary Sue Cook Hines. Bobby was a self-employed carpenter for over 40 years and an avid fisherman. He was a faithful and active member of the First Baptist Church in Waldo where he was always the first one at the church and always the last one to leave. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved visiting and spending time with his family and friends especially his granddaughters who were the highlight of his life. Bobby is survived by his wife, Vicki Thompson Hines of Waldo; sons, Gary L. Hines and wife Kathy of Waldo and Wesley Pate and wife Karen of Waldo; daughter, Shelda Shackelford and husband Bill of Waldo; granddaughters, Karissa Shackelford and Danyel Shackelford of Waldo, Stacie Pate, Rylee Pate, and MacKenzie Ainsworth of Waldo; brother, David Hines and wife Mary of Village; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel in Magnolia. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Lewis Chapel with Bro. Ed Phillips officiating and Bro. Shane Crank assisting. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Williams, Johnny McKamie, Bo Hicks, Pete Pedron, Ray Clark, Bill Johnson, Joey Price, and Kevin Shackelford.
