Benjamin Franklin Ewing Jr.

Benjamin Franklin Ewing, Jr., 89, of Fayetteville, and formerly of Rogers and Paris, passed away Friday, March 10. He was born September 15, 1927 in Prairie View, to the late Benjamin F. Ewing Sr. and Mary Winnie Newman Ewing. His life revolved around his contract mail route, laundromat, bus station, and his family. For more than 50 years, he was the loving husband of LaRuth Ewing, who preceded him. Survivors include his son, Michael Ewing Sr. (Chris) of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Nikki Anderson (Adam) of Jonesboro and Michael Ewing Jr. of Fayetteville; a great-grandson, Luke Green; his church family; and many dear friends. Services will be held Wednesday, March 15, at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., with funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment follows in Little Flock Cemetery.
