JACK GOODSON, 75, of Roland, passed away March 11, 2017. Born in Little Rock to Cab and Octa Goodson, he was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Chenal Valley Baptist Church, the Mary Williams Masonic Lodge, and the Roland Masonic Lodge, and was a retired truck and tour bus driver. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Cab, Jr., Sam, Dick and Joe; and sisters, Ruth, Mildred and Carolyn; he is survived by his wife, Gladys King Goodson; sons, Joe Goodson (Kimberly) of Bryant, Steve Goodson (Melanie) of North Little Rock, Kevin Wilson (Andrea) and Mike Wilson (Christy), both of Bryant; brothers, Clay Goodson (Florence) of Houston, Ark., and Truman Goodson of Little Rock; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15, from 6-8 p.m., at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Allen Morton. Jack will be laid to rest at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
