Angela Lee Rhodes

Angela Lee Rhodes, age 37, of Augusta, Arkansas, passed away on March 10, 2017 in Augusta, Arkansas. She was born to Jimmy and Cindy (Nichols) Rhodes on July 12, 1979. Angela was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. She graduated from Augusta High School and attended college at Arkansas State University in Newport and Jonesboro. She earned her degree in Radio Communicates. Angela was a proud member of the Army. Angela was a funeral director and manager at Rhodes and Son Funeral Home. Angela enjoyed traveling to many places, especially to Branson, Missouri. Her passions were reading, shopping, going to church, helping with Vacation Bible School, and selling Scentsy. Angela especially loved taking care of kids. Angela's favorite was spoiling, loving on, and taking care of her dogs. She resides in memory: her mother: Cindy (Nichols) Rhodes of Augusta, Arkansas, her brother: Jimmy Rhodes, Jr., her babies: Mandy, Sarah, Mickey, Makayla, Mylee, and Millie, two uncles: Merlin Johnson and wife, Pamela of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Ronny Nichols and wife, Phyllis of Augusta, Arkansas, one aunt: Pam Robertson and husband, Cleatious of Searcy, Arkansas, and a host of family and friends. Angela is preceded in death by her father: Jimmy Rhodes, Sr., both sets of grandparents, and her baby: Maurea. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rhodes and Son Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Committal service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park. Arrangements by Rhodes & Son Funeral Home, Augusta & McCrory. Pallbearers are Frank Burton, Tyler Baker, Daniel Baker, Mike McCabe, Tommy Wells, Windell Allen, and Darius Ward. Honorary Pallbearers: Mickey Gilley and Gilbert Matlock, Jr. Donations can be made in Angela's memory at the American Humane Society.
