Anthony Earl Barnes

Anthony Earl Barnes was born Sept. 11, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Joe and Helen Louise (Sidebottom) Barnes. He passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at his home in Cushing, Okla. Anthony was united in marriage to Patricia Galyan on Sept. 17, 1977 in Oklahoma City and to this union four children were born. Anthony worked as an auto mechanic for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing his guitar, working on his truck and guns. Most of all, Anthony loved his family and playing with his grandbabies. Anthony is survived by his wife, Patricia Barnes of West Virginia; four children, Anthony T. Barnes and his wife, Guadalupe, Shauna D. Barnes and her fiancé, Juan Barranco, Christopher E. Barnes all of Springdale, Ark., and Jennifer L. Barnes of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Sebastian, Natalia, Samuel, and Daniel Barranco, and Trinity, Aaliyah and Brooklyn Barnes; two sisters, Jessica Kanehl and her husband, Donnie of Perkins, Okla., and Jaquita Zinkan and her husband, Don of Azle, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Destiny Barnes and one sister, Sherry Barnes.
