Priscilla Ann Bennett Horton

Priscilla Ann Bennett Horton, 71, of Rogers passed away March 17, 2017. She was born Dec. 20, 1945 in Louisville, Miss., the daughter of Major A. and Mildred O. Oliver Bivens. Priscilla had many occupations such as working in the OB delivery room, Store Manager, and Truckdriver. She enjoyed being with her family, her dogs Tiny and Peanut, sewing, painting, fishing and spending time in the woods. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband's Gobie Bennett and Elbert Horton, three children Sarah Elizabeth, Annetta Lynn and James Trelland Edens, three brothers Melvin A., Robert S. and William A. Bivens. She is survived by her daughters Lagina Rochier of Bentonville, Beverly A. Brewer and husband Ron of Rogers; her siblings James Bivens and wife Louise of Okolona, Miss., Jessie Myrle Christian and husband Don of Westville, Okla., Gail Phillips and husband Duane of New Albany, Miss.; four grandchildren Robin Bennett and husband Jesse, Severen Bailey, Chelsea Neis and husband Dennis and Ronnie Brewer; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A going home celebration for Priscilla will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday; March 21, 2017 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers with Pastor Dave Hadsell officiating. Interment in the National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
