VEDONIA "VEE" K. GARRISON, 92, of Little Rock, passed away March 17, 2017. She was born in Little Rock to William and Nettie Ayers Haltom, and was of the Methodist faith. She was a founding member of St. James United Methodist Church. Graduating from Berkeley High School, she attended the University of California. She was self-employed in commercial construction with the Garrison Companies of North Little Rock. Vee was fearless, feisty and, most of all, fun. She kept a beautiful home and loved working in her gardens. Upon entering Heaven, her first words were likely to be, "Well, let me say this…" Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jack and Fred Haltom, and her husband, Carl Floyd Warren Garrison, she is survived by her sons, Lloyd Garrison (Ferris) and Dee Garrison; grandchildren, Ted Garrison (Mary Dudley) and Drew Garrison Keller (Will); great-granddaughter, Annesley Wheaton Keller, all of Little Rock; niece, Ann Godwin (Charles) of Hot Springs and nephew, Fred Haltom (Becky) of Midland, Texas. Special thanks to the staff of Pleasant Valley Living Center for the loving care given to "Vee." Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
