Carol Wieland

Carol Wieland, age 71, of Solgohachia, Ark., passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born Dec. 4, 1945 in Solgohachia, Ark., a daughter of Irvin Wieland and Rachel Adams Wieland. She was an English Teacher for Wonderview High School. She loved animals, her church, studying seismology, and living in the area where she grew up. She leaves behind her cousins, Coralie Hawkins, Jerrell, Mark, and Jerry Brice; friends; and former students to cherish her memory. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Jane Wieland. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 27, at Harris Chapel with Bro. Billy Booth and Bro. Charles Flowers officiating. Burial will be at Lone Grove Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, at the funeral home.
