DAVID RANDALL "RANDY" RUSSEL, 62, of Little Rock passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, from complications of a massive stroke. He was born in Little Rock on June 3, 1954 to parents David Carl Russell and Eloise Crow Russell. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother-in-law, Bennie Hutcheson. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Eloise Russell, his sister, Ann Hutcheson, niece Amy (Kevin) Vent and great-nephew, Vaden Vent, as well as many friends and loved ones in the community. Randy was a lifelong and active member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing and sang in both the church choir and quartet. He was an avid sports fan, especially golf and football. He was a Razorback fan and enjoyed tailgating with friends and family. He received his Master's degree from UCA and was employed by Ty Inc. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, from 2-4 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, at 11 a.m. at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 17201 Arch St. in Little Rock with Bro. David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Landmark Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his honor to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 17201 Arch Street in Little Rock, 72206.
