Floyd E. "Gabe" Hunter

Floyd E. "Gabe" Hunter of Wynne, Ark., died Friday, March 24, 2017, at Crestpark Nursing Center in Wynne, Ark. Gabe was born in Wynne, Ark., on Dec. 19, 1935, to Floyd A. and Evelyn Sullivan Hunter. He worked in auto parts and sales, was a veteran of the Arkansas National Guard, and a member of Wynne Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bonnie Hunter Heath. Survivors are his wife, Mary Ford Hunter, son, Kyle Hunter and wife Tina of White Hall, Ark., daughter, Beth Hunter Argo and husband Fred of Jonesboro, Ark., sister, Diann Brumback and husband Jim of Little Rock, Ark., grandchildren, Haisley Hunter Holden, Adam Argo and wife Meredith, Hannah Hunter Graves and husband Nic, Hope Argo DeGroat and husband Brandon, Cameron Hunter Morris and husband Walter, Bonnie Argo, Aaron Hunter, and Joshua Rose and wife Sami Jo, and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, March 27, 2017, from 12:30-2 p.m. at Wynne Baptist Church with services to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Crosslawn Cemetery in Wynne, Ark.
