Tommy Lynn Hobson, 55 passed away on March 22, 2017. He was born on Feb. 26, 1962 in England, Ark., to Tommy and Shirley Hobson. He was of the Assembly of God Faith. He was Vice Principal for Walker High School of Jasper, Ala. He started out at the school as teacher, football and wrestling coach and finally Vice Principal. He graduated from the University of Arkansas Of Monticello with his bachelor's degree and received his Master Degree at Delta State University of Cleveland, MS. He was a member of the Phi Lambda Chi Fraternity and loved NASCAR, golfing and loved his family very much. He loved to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks Football. He also loved to work with his students. He also loved his Dodge Challenger his dream car since High School. He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Hobson. He is survived by his wife Kim Hobson, daughter Ashley Hobson and step daughter Jessica (Mike) Dill all of Jasper, Ala., father Tommy Hobson Sr. Also survived by two brothers Tommy Ray Hobson Jr. of England, Ark., and James Thomas Hobson of Conway, Ark. Tommy is also survived by grandchildren Kaylee, Harleigh and Jaxzon and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Sunday March 26, 2017 at 3 p.m. with visitation at 2 p.m. both at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home of England, Ark. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers send donations to Kim Hobson 2305 Sutton Place Drive Jasper, Ala. 35504, to establish a scholarship fund for students of Jasper City Schools.
