Sharon Patricia Spann

Sharon Patricia Lenderman Spann, 73, of Searcy, died Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born June 7, 1943 in Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of Owen and Audrey Lenderman. Sharon grew up in North Little Rock (Rose City) and graduated from NLRHS in the Class of 1961. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1964. She peacefully slipped from this life into the arms of Jesus as Josh was holding her hand. Josh and Dee thank the Lord for the time he gave us with Sharon, the love of our lives. And we thank all those from near and afar who continue to reach out to us in so many loving and caring ways during this difficult time. We hope you have received a blessing as we have from you. She was truly a blessing and inspiration to all she touched with her tender, but strong, spirit. She was a prime example of what a true Southern, Christian lady is all about. Sharon is survived by her husband, Dee Spann; her son, Joshua Spann; three brothers Carrol Lenderman, Ben Spurlock, and James Spurlock; two sisters, Darlene Spry and Anna Spurlock; and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles Lenderman. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Searcy.
