Elizabeth Ione Henley Welch

Elizabeth Ione Henley Welch, 87, of El Dorado, died Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born November 9, 1929 in Norphlet to the late Lonnie Lee Henley and Iola Cheatham Henley. Mrs. Welch was a member of First Baptist Church in Norphlet. She loved her family and friends. You could always find her cooking, reading, playing a game, or spending time with ones she loved. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Welch was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Earl Welch, daughter, Margaret Welch Watson, four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Welch is survived by her son, Roger Welch (Debbie) of Hot Springs Village; her son-in-law, Johnny Watson of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Will Watson (Mandy) of Little Rock and Jana Terrell (Jeremiah) of Austin; four great-grandchildren, Ella Watson, Harper Watson, Brennen Terrell and Kannon Terrell; four nieces and two nephews. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
