Floyd Fremought Harbison

Floyd Fremought Harbison, 88, of Benton, passed away March 29, 2017. He was born July 23, 1928 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to the late Jim and Nore Mae Harbison. Floyd worked as a heavy equipment operator for Township Builders for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Harbison,sons, Johnny Ray and Paul Fremought Harbison, daughter-in-law, Betty Harbison, brothers, Clifford, James Willie and Virgil Harbison, sisters, Birdie Dempsey, Gladys Dempsey and Frances Quirrels. Survivors: son, Archie Harbison, granddaughters, Christy and Ronnie Fletcher, Sheila Carey and Becky and Mike Crum, three great-grandchildren, Brittany Harrison, Michael Crum and Hunter Crum. Pallbearers will be Hunter Crum, Michael Crum, Brittany Harrison, Larry Fenton, Randy Cordell, Frankie Isom, Michael Chisum and Samuel Griffin. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m. Saturday with burial to follow at Fairplay Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday.
