Stephen Lewis Davis

Stephen Lewis Davis, age 66, of Bryant, Ark. passed away March 28, 2017. He was born May 27, 1950, in Frankfurt, Germany. Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Davis, and son, Brad Davis. He is survived by his wife, Marion West Davis of Bryant; his father, Lt. Col (Ret) Norman (Jane) Davis of Wilmington, N.C.; son, Chris (Valarie) Davis of Hot Springs; daughter, Amanda (Rusty) Short of Little Rock; grandchildren, Cooper, Cannan, Kinzee Davis of Hot Springs, Caleb and Lauren Short of Little Rock; brothers, Jeff (Becky) Davis of Texas, Gary (Sue) Davis of Illinois, Michael (Barbara) Davis of Florida; nephews, Jason (Cynthia) Davis of California, Andrew Rice of North Carolina, Chris (Priscilla) West of Tennessee; and many friends and extended family members. Steve, former owner of Davis Business Supply, attended Louisiana Tech. He spent his time hunting, fishing, barbecuing, and hanging out with his Jacksonville High School buddies. Steve most enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities with Marion. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 1, at 3 p.m., at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy. 5 North in Alexander, officiated by the Rev. Rich Mitchell.
