Betty Jo Griffith

Betty Jo Griffith of Guy, Ark., passed away at the age of 85 on Friday May 5, 2017 in her home. Betty was born April 16, 1932 in Kentucky and was the daughter of Rosie Mae and Clifford Lane. Siblings are sisters - Bobbie and John Walker of Detroit, Mich., Oma Decker of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gracie Reeder of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ethel Mays of Kentucky. Brothers are Verlain and Margaret Lane, and Carnzzle and Jenny Lane of Kentucky. Children are Brenda Dowdy of Guy, Doris Watkins of Conway, Carolyn and Mark Hays of Bryant, Gary and Myra Griffith of Conway. Harley her loved dog. Grandchildren are Sandy Dowdy, Jerry and Dana Dowdy, and Chase Watkins all of Conway. Brianna Hayes, Britten Hays, Tristan Hays all of Bryant. Great-Grandchildren: Dawson Watkins 7, Landon Dowdy, 9, and Madison Dowdy 1. Betty was a retired employee from Conway Human Development Center of 28 years. She also worked with Greenbrier Head Start for 12 years. She loved children and devoted her life to assisting and supporting children. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 and Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Greenbrier.
