Beverly Ann Thompson, 82, of Conway, Ark., went to be with her Lord Friday, May 5, 2017. She was born Dec. 31, 1934 in Crawfordsville, Ark., to Johnny and Gladys (Lessenberry) Turner. Survivors: Son John Thompson (Charleen) of Atlanta, Daughter Cheryl Daniels (Steve) of Conway, Granddaughter Kayla White (Brandon) of Fayetteville, Grandsons Kyle Daniels of Little Rock, Cabe Thompson of San Francisco, Hays Thompson of Nashville, and one great-granddaughter Leighton White of Fayetteville. Preceded in death by her mother Gladys Lessenberry Grafton, loving Husband Ralph Thompson of Forrest City. The family would like to express a great deal of gratitude towards Heritage Living Center for the love and care she received while there. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church in Forrest City and Grace Methodist Church in Conway. She was a dedicated elementary teacher for 36 years. She was an avid sports fan and loved attending events where her husband, son, and son-in-law coached. Celebration of Life Service, 10 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 Grace United Methodist Church, Conway, Ark., with Reverend Mark McDonald, officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Mt. Vernon Cemetery Forrest City, Ark. In lieu of flowers send donations to Ralph Thompson Fellowship of Christian Athletes Foundation at PO BOX 3002 Forrest City, Ark. 72336.
