David Cannon Kinnard

David Cannon Kinnard (63) passed away on May 12, 2017, at his home in Maumelle, Arkansas. David was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and he graduated from Hendrix College in 1975. He was a certified public accountant and was a partner in his own firm in Heber Springs, Arkansas for more than 20 years. In 2003 he left private practice to work for the State of Arkansas, most recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Arkansas Department of Labor. David is survived by his mother, Wilma Jean Kinnard; his wife, Linda Heath Kinnard; his children, Melody (Aaron) Kiriakidis, James (Sarah) Kinnard, and Timothy (Amy) Kinnard; his wife's children, Travis (Christina) Heath, Leigh Anne (Terry) Peak; his sisters, Linda (Bruce) Ryder and Sarah (Starling) Evins; and 14 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens, 8701 State Hwy. 110, Heber Springs, Arkansas.
