Funeral services for Carrie Mae Brison, 72, of Little Rock, Ark., will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the P.L.M.&D District Center. Interment will be at Oak Grove #3 Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Brown's Home for Funerals. Carrie Mae Brison was born on July 13, 1944 to the late Viola and Walter Speed in Helena, Arkansas. Carrie worked for the Little Rock School District as a food service worker for 15 years. After retiring from the school district, she worked at Walmart in the bakery/deli for five years. Carrie answered her heavenly call on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas. Carrie leaves to cherish her memory, children; Tammie Kinsey of Jacksonville, Fla., Alexander (Latisha) Speed, Lincoln Brison, Terrance Brison, and Bria Tucker all of Little Rock, Ark., a host of grandchildren and great-children, sisters; Mildred (Andrew) Alexander and Maxine Speed of Little Rock, Ark., Mae Dean (Theotrice) Mitchell of Helena, Ark., and a brother, Charles Speed of Louisiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
