Sondra Jester Goodson

Sondra Jester Goodson, 76, of White Hall, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was born February 16, 1941 in Ashdown, Arkansas, daughter of Joseph and Marguerite Bass Jester. As a military child, Sondra lived many places as a child. She graduated from high school in Killeen, Texas and attended the University of Texas. She worked for UAMS for over 25 years, retiring as a buyer in 2004. Mrs. Goodson enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing the harmonica. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Powell (Joe) of Pine Bluff; son, Todd Goodson of White Hall; two grandchildren, Madison and Jay Dempsey; and an "honorary" son, Richard Johnson (Lisa). A memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 20, 2017 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Todd Howard officiating.
