William Richard Bullard

William Richard Bullard, 89, of Stuttgart passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017. Mr. Bullard was born Jan. 4, 1928, in Marmaduke, Ark., to Clarence and Verna Bradsher Bullard. He attended Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway and was a retired draftsman. His many passions, just to name a few, included photography, art, archiving history, volunteering at the Grand Prairie Development Center and Museum of the Arkansas Grand Prairie, and attending Stuttgart Senior Center. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Darlene Stipp Bullard; and grandson, Jake Spivey. Survivors are daughters, Marcy Pierce (Merle Anders) of Casscoe and Cindy Spivey (Robert) of Wiggins, Miss.; sister, Jackie Bullard Allen of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren, Candace Pierce Prine (Bret) of Stuttgart, Dawn Spivey Bramlett (Bucky) of Conway and Laine Spivey Taylor (Ronnie) of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and five great-grandchildren, Hayden Prine, Braden and Briggs Bramlett and Ethan and Lillian Taylor. A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Darrell Stayton, is 11 a.m. Monday, June 5, at St. Albans Episcopal Church.
