Harry Gaylon Weddle, 72, of De Valls Bluff passed away May 22, 2017. He was born October 2, 1944 in Prairie County, the son of William and Olivia Taylor Weddle. He graduated from De Valls Bluff High School in 1962 and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1965 and was stationed in Germany. Harry retired after 30 plus years with Entergy. He is survived by his wife, Sue Carr Weddle whom he married in June, 1992; one daughter, Susan Caplener (Don) of Clarendon; granddaughter, Gracelyn Taylor Caplener; three step-children; six step-grandchildren; one brother; six sisters and one sister-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers, and one step-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 25, at Westbrook funeral Home Chapel in Hazen. Burial will be in the Peppers Lake Cemetery.
